Sue The Puppy

Once, in Kerala there was a puppy named Alya. Her owners name was Luan, who had a daughter named Miley. Miley was twelve years old - who loved puppies especially Alya. One day Miley thought it would be fun to take Alya to the society park.

 All the kids - who loved dogs - crowded around Alya. 

They played fetch and had a good time. But there was 

one old man who didn't like Alya. She disturbed his

 evening walks in the park. His name was Ravi. He

 decided to take Alya and Miley to court! When

 Miley and Alya returned home, Luan and Ravi

 were sitting in their living room and drinking tea.

" Miley, " said Luan, " It is time to go to court.

 You - Alya disturb Ravi's walks in the park, so he

 thinks you should go to court. " They set off on

 their way to the society court. " This puppy

 disturbs my walk EVERYDAY! He just runs

 down the lane and then back again, I almost

 fall over " snapped Ravi. " Exuse me - but Alya is she!" corrected

Miley, " and as per me everyone in the entire 

society loves her! Don't you? " she asked the

 audience. " Yes! " they replied.

" Well, " said the judge, " We can settle this with a win-win. We have a road in the society, don't we? " asked the judge. " Yes. " said Miley. " Then it's settled! Ravi can take his walks on the road and Alya may continue to play in the park. " " But there are cars on the road. " complained Ravi. " There is a side walk, you can use that. " replied the judge. He banged his hammer on the desk and said " Case closed." And then the entire society was happy. 

Sounds Of The Woods

When I looked out of my window, 
I saw an amazing sight !
Roads and houses disappeared, 
There was a bright light !



Our house was in a wood,
I was pretty surprised !
I heard some new sounds,
I listed as many as I could write.

The roaring of the tiger, 
The hissing of the snake.
The splashing of a fish, 
Swimming in a lake

The growling of a bear, 
The clucking of a hen.
The snoring of a lion, 
Sleeping in his den.

Then I heard a different sound telling me to wake up, 
It was my mom telling me to get ready for school, 
The sounds I  heard were in my dream ,
They were so very cool !

Little rabbit tails : chapter 1 The new burrow

INTRODUCTION
                                                 

Radishly was a little rabbit , she was an expert  at getting lost
but her older brother Cornly always found her in the end,

One day Radishly, Cornly and there parents were moving to a new burrow,they were packing there stuff when-"Oh no I forgot my new socks that grandma gave me for my birthday in the park" said Radishly . So she scurried of to get them. "Was the way to the park left right left or right left right?" thought Radishly. Oh no , she was lost, again !

Meanwhile Cornly was wondering where Radishly was. He assumed that she was lost as usual .
So he went to look for her . He (of course) knew the way to the park . Once he reached the park he did not see Radishly , as she was lost.

 Radishly was sitting sadly on a bench near the forest. She remembered getting lost in there and
 eating carrots. But right now she was worried she would miss the Bunny Ride. Suddenly she heard
 a voice calling her name ! "RADISHLY , RADISHLY " it said . It was Cornly !

 She ran towards the voice and saw Cornly. Her sense of direction was bad , but her hearing was   incredible. "I've been looking everywhere for you " said Cornly. Radishly hugged him tightly .
 " Lets go home now " said Cornly . "But Grandma's socks are still in the park " said Radishly

  "No they're not . I got them for you " said Cornly. "Thank you " she said. So they scurried of to   the burrow as fast as possible .

Miss Mind Changer

There was a women named Miss Lily
She was very very silly
She could never make up her mind
But she was also very kind


She went to a big buffet
She decided to take a pate
Pasta she thought would be better
In the end she took more than anyone who would enter


For her grand daughter she took a book
It was a book to learn how to cook
She then took a book on history
In the end how many books she took is a mystery


Now you see how she could not decide a thing
She once could not decide what to give to the king
She was a very jolly women
But could she ever make decisions-no she couldn't

Emma's Rhymes

  Here she is , your curiosity is gone
  Here is the girl who can rhyme anything even a pawn
  Rhyme this , rhyme that
  She"ll rhyme anything , even a bat



             In class Lucy did something that got her in detention
             After that the teacher asked the class a question
            What is the capital of France ?  asked the teacher
            Is it Moscow ? asked one funny creature





No said the teacher in an irritated voice
Think harder girls and boys
Emma said ,  The capital of France is Paris
And wont it be fun to go to the Eiffel Tower terrace




                         When she got home Mother called out
                         EMMA ARE YOU HOME she said with a shout
                         Said Emma , Yes mother I am back
                         Today we cleared the garden and put the garbage in a sack

queen of crazy

There was a girl her name was Lucy
And Lucy jumped into the jacuzzi
She stayed there for a second and a half
And this is the part that made people laugh



                   She got out and jumped into the pool
                   The next thing she did made her look like a fool
                   She got out of the pool and ran away
                   In her mind she wanted to play




   Still in her swimming costume she went to the park
   But when she got there she decided it was dark
   Then she headed back home
   And on the way she tripped over a bucket of foam




   When Lucy grew up she was still crazy
   And even today she is known as the queen of crazy
  Her sister , Emma Loved to Rhyme

The Foolish Fox

There was once a fox. He was hiding behind a tree. A mouse came passing by.The fox jumped out. " I am so happy to see you " said the fox. " Because I am hungry and I am going to eat you up ". " Don't eat me " said the mouse. " A cat is coming behind me ". " She is bigger & she is fatter ". " Very well "
said the fox , " you can go ". Like the mouse had said a cat came. The fox jumped from behind the tree. " I am so happy to see you " said the fox. " Because I am hungry and I am going to eat you up ".
" Don't eat me " said the cat. " There is a dog coming behind me ". He is bigger & he is fatter. " Very well " said the fox. " You can go ". Like the cat had said a dog came. The fox jumped out from behind the tree. " I am so happy to see you " said the fox. " Because I am hungry and I am going to eat you up ". " Don't eat me " said the dog . " There is a zebra coming behind me ". " He is bigger & he is fatter ". " Very well " said the fox. " You can go ". Like the dig had said the fox could hear footsteps. Then he heard a roar. The confused fox peeped from behind the tree. He saw a lion ! The lion said " I am so happy to see you " , " Because I am hungry and I am going to eat you up ". The fox ran from the forest never heard of again .

My Brothers Cars

My Brother's cars are small & big
In one there are cute little pigs
Some are red and some are yellow
Sometimes he says"didi aap bhi khelo

He likes to play with red cars
He gives them a push and they zoom off far
Gold is the color of the car he gives me
He slides his car on a slope and he shouts weeee!

Some he even takes to the mall
He keeps them in his bag,so they don't fall
One of his cars is black
And this is the car he forgets to pack

His blue cars are also nice
He plays with them while he is eating rice
Cars,he has many more
Some he even takes to the sea shore

The Mole with a sweet tooth

There was a mole
He lived in a hole
His name was Loris
His hole was in a forest

He ate sweets day and night
For his sweets he would give up a fight
He loved sweets so much
He ate them for breakfast , dinner and lunch

Once one of his teeth fell out
He began to howl and cry aloud
His friends came scurrying out in a hurry
To check out what was his worry

When his friends saw what had happened
You should have been more careful said the captain
For a month you shall not have any sweet
And don't you dare to cheat

But of-course Loris did not listen
He could not resist and had treats from the kitchen
Soon there were no teeth left with poor Loris
And he was now the only creature with no teeth in the forest

RAIN DROPS

Down comes the rain
On a pleasant day

Comes from the sky
Way up high

First it drizzles
Then it fizzles

Then it comes pouring down
Making children dance like clowns

Floating their paper boats
Wearing their raincoats

Everything becomes so lush and green
And the air becomes as light as cream

Frogs start croaking
Ducks happily floating

Just as the fun reaches the top
I can feel the rain stop

Then the sun comes out slow
Painting a beautiful rainbow

Down comes the rain
On a pleasant day

A very naughty boy

There was a boy,
He had lots of toys.

But one kind he liked the best,
for which he would always request.

Yes, it was cars !
He thought he was a star,
when he wore sunglasses
He kept breaking Mom's flower vases.

And when he broke a car he said:
"It is not the car that is broken,"
"It is the door that is open !"

Little Rabbit tales :poem

               


There was a bunny family,
With a little bunny called Radishly,
Her bigger brother Cornly had something to say,
"Come on Radishly, it is time to play"

They fled out of the house, full speed ahead
Cornly said - "Let's go the park", but Radishly shook her head
"I want to go to the forest", she said, her ears standing high
"No", said Cornly.  So she began to cry...


"Okay, just this once", agreed Cornly with a sigh
"Hurrah", said Radishly and gleefully she jumped up high
Off she sped, leaving Cornly behind
Once inside, she lost track of time!

Cornly was sick with fright,
It was about to be night, and Radishly was nowhere in sight
Waiting at the edge of the forest , he thought....
"Oh yes, she is a pest, but I hope she is all right"

So he went inside the forest,where he met a lot of parrots
And there sitting by the stream was Radishly, happily munching on carrots
"Radishly", yelled Cornly, "you are in big big trouble!"
To make it up, you need to get me carrots double" 

Gymnastics

Roll over
Do a headstand
Jump up and down
on one hand
If you can't do them all
don't try or else you will fall
These gymnasts work pretty hard,
You better be on your guard
I swear you will hit you head hard

The owl and the ghoul

Once there was an owl
He came across a ghoul

The ghoul said
My name is Fred
Whats yours
Mines Lorse
Said the owl
Are you a ghoul
yes I am
I eat lamb
I eat mice
Come to my house
yes I'll come to your house
And the ghouls dinner was the owl !

Birdie Poem

Friends , last month was just the best
A bird came to my house and made a nest !
She laid beautiful lovely eggs

One day,  the eggs hatched
The babies had tiny- tiny legs & wings
Chirp -chirp-chirp they loved to sing

Soon they grew up and started to fly
From the window I waved good-bye
We will visit you soon they cried
Soon, I discovered they do not lie !

The Queen's Cream

Once there was a queen who loved her cream
She carried it every where she went

She loved sheep
She hated sweets

Her pet was a sheep
Her children ate sweets
